Playthrough, Part XII
Today was a day of level design… The area I’m working on is a previously visited area, but now you’ll have to fight in it…
Since it takes place in a star base, I was thinking of adding a maze-like structure (a series of elevators which the player can use to get around, but the path to the end boss isn’t all that clear)… On one hand, it would be different, on the another, I think it would be boring…
Still have to think of a gameplay mechanic for the end-boss of this area as well…
Link of the Day: It’s no surprise I like turn-based strategy games, although I’m very picky about them… XCom was one of the best games I’ve played ever, and I really loved the reboot!
This one looks interesting, since it combines both turn-based strategy and voxel-based graphics, so I’ll definitely keep my eyes open for it!
